For me, photography has always been about so much more than taking beautiful pictures—it's about preserving the moments that become a family's greatest treasures. From the excitement of expecting your first baby to the tiny details of a newborn, growing children, and the love shared between generations, I believe every chapter deserves to be remembered.
As a professional nanny with more than 25 years of experience caring for infants, children, and families, I've had the privilege of watching countless little ones grow. That experience has taught me patience, gentleness, and how to create a calm, relaxed environment where children feel safe, parents feel at ease, and genuine moments naturally unfold.
My passion for photography grew from that love of children and families. Today, I have the joy of combining both passions to create timeless, light-filled portraits that celebrate the journey from the bump... and every beautiful chapter beyond.
Together with my daughter, Sarah, we're honored to serve families throughout Coastal Virginia. While I focus on creating elegant maternity, newborn, and portrait experiences, Sarah brings her own warmth and joyful energy to our family sessions. As a mother of four herself, she understands just how quickly childhood passes and how precious these memories become.

Meet Sarah
Photography has always been about more than beautiful pictures to me—it's about preserving the love, laughter, and little moments that make every family unique. As a wife, mother of four, and someone who has devoted my career to caring for children, I know just how quickly the seasons of life pass. One moment you're rocking a newborn to sleep, and before you know it they're running across the beach, starting school, and growing into who they're meant to be. Those are the moments I love capturing.
My background as a professional nanny has given me years of experience caring for infants, toddlers, and children of all ages. It has taught me patience, flexibility, and how to build trust with children so they feel relaxed and comfortable. That experience allows me to create portrait sessions that are fun, natural, and filled with genuine smiles rather than forced poses.
In addition to photography, I work as a swim instructor and event coordinator. Teaching children has strengthened my ability to encourage confidence and connect with kids of all personalities, while coordinating events has given me a strong eye for organization and attention to detail. These experiences help me create a smooth, enjoyable experience for every family we serve.
I specialize in family and children's portraits and work alongside my mom, Sharon, during our photography sessions. Together, we combine our love for photography and our years of experience working with families to create a relaxed, personalized experience from beginning to end.
